Great Western Development Company was seeking entitlements for a master-planned community near downtown when local opposition broke out. Portell Works helped the project team with their community engagement strategy and communication of the project's vision and benefits through speaker training, newsletters, briefing books and a website. After nearly a year of negotiations and public process, the project was unanimously approved by the town board.
